Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and design company projects and manage its delivery.
- Monitor proactively the implementation of the project at all stages and ensure meeting project objectives
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors to ensure resource availability and allocation for the flawless execution of projects.
- Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
- Resolve issues and initiate corrective action as appropriate.
- Set in place the standard governance arrangements for all company projects.
- Advocate & apply PM standards as determined by the Corporate PMO (governance, processes, templates, etc.)
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
- Ensure the overall integrity of any project - focusing inwardly on the internal consistency of the project; and outwardly on its coherence with other projects.
- Manage project communication with all stakeholders; projects' teams, team leadership committee, and project steering committee.
- Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
- Manage all interfaces between sub-projects.
- Manage risks to corporate project's successful outcome.
- Initiate extra activities and other management interventions wherever gaps in the project are identified or issues arise.
- Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
- Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Define and implement the change management approach
- Actively manage stakeholders’ expectations and perceptions for project deliverables / progress
- Communicate regularly on project progress, critical risks and issues, mitigation plans, deliverables achieved.
- Facilitate conflict resolution and problem solving sessions
- Report at regular intervals and escalate to management as needed.
- Successfully manage the relationship with all stakeholders.
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
- Identify with project owner project benefit realization
المهارات
Business Knowledge/Technical Skills:
- Minimum 4 years of experience in project management and experience in information system field s a plus
- Very good educational background, preferably in the fields of computer science or engineering
- Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies
- Experience in financial sectors services is a plus
- Insurance knowledge is an asset
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- PMP certification is a plus
